Passion of the Metalmarks

I did a bit of work on a new series of paintings broadly titled 'Passion of the Metalmarks'. Some old color ideas were being revisited (Orange/Blue-green/Blue-violet) with some different structural elements. It was a way of getting back into painting after a long rest. By the way, a Metalmark is a kind of butterfly; most North American species reside in the west and southwest.
